2.4 Channels and connectors
Channels
Channels are one of the key concepts of Integrated. A channel (also called "Publication channel") is used to publish or distribute content.
In most cases a channel is defined for a brand, platform or locale.
Connectors
A channel by itself doesn't do anything. Connectors are used to publish or distribute content. A channel may have multiple connectors. Some connectors are included with Integrated, others can be created by a developer. Two examples:
Website connector
The website connector enables a website for the channel. This enables use of the Page and Block module as well. All published content that is attached to the channel will be on the website.
Twitter connector
The Twitter connector will post new published items on Twitter.
